has anyone had electrolysis hair removal done? i'm nervous..?

yeah so i’ve tried laser hair removal and it didn’t work so i want electrolysis done so it is permanent. but i’m scared and have a few questions for people who HAVE HAD IT DONE. no "I’ve heard…"’s please 
(and don’t tell me what it is because i know)
1) does it hurt a lot more than plucking?
2) does the needle hurt as its going into the follicle?
3) if i use numbing cream will it hurt a lot still?
btw its for my eyebrows and lip. my lip isn’t bad at all but i want to get it taken care of in case it gets bad.
answers please!!!! appointment is friday. :/

their is a another type of electrolysis uses tweezers you hold the hair and zap the hair turns lose i use to do it like 20 yrs age clients didn’t seem to act like it hurt but it takes a lot of treatments
