Aybody used electrolysis for hair removal?

What was the procedure like? How many treatments did you need? Was the hair removal permanent? I’m thinking about getting my upper lip done.
I went to my clinic and they stopped offering electrolysis as that procedure has increased risk of sccaring. I had laser removal treatment, it hurt very little and they said i need 10 sessions but I only had 4 (money issue 
) but the effect was pretty good already and lasted for two years.
