What is the differance between Electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Electrolysis kills the root of the hair with electricity. Laser hair removal kills it with heat- the hair absorbs the laser light, heats up and kills off the hair root.
Laser hair removal leaves bruises, I don’t think electrolysis does but it can cause scarring if not done properly. I think both may require more than one session to stop hair growing back completely.

electrolysis is having a very hot needle go into the root of the hair and pluck it out i think laser doesn’t involve a needle or plucking. not 100 % sure though
