Imagine seeing a person with a face beset with unsightly hair, that can be repulsive and women though are very conscious of it. Hair on the face can be easily eliminated either with temporary or permanent hair removal methods.

A person face is by and large enclosed with tiny and fine hair that is known as vellus hair. Aging will result in the hair to become a darker shade, larger in addition to making it more prominent. Men tend to get such hair growth, especially in the ears that can bring about lower self confidence as such hairs can be a very off-putting.

Hair removal products such as shaving, tweezing, waxing, gels, lotions, bleaching, trimming, using Epilators and creams are effective means to get rid of unwanted hairs but they are temporary solutions. For permanent hair removal techniques, there are electrolysis and laser to destroy as much as possible those hairs that are undesirable on your face.

Electrolysis hair removal can get rid of hair permanently and it is low-level electricity that is introduced into the hair follicle to destroy it. By burning the hair follicle, hair will not breed again but require time as each hair is destroyed separately. To achieve effective result, you will most likely require many years of repetitive treatment and money outlay although it is by far one of the best solutions to eradicate facial hair, in particular the eyebrows and upper lids. To get the preferred outcome, always seek licensed professional to do it.

Laser hair removal on the other hand is a revolutionary treatment and is gaining in recognition. By introducing a light of a single wavelength and absorbed by the melanin, thus destroying it. For such treatment, it is necessary to get the endorsement of a doctor before proceeding. As hairs grow sporadically, the treatment has to be in several phases in order to reach the desired outcome. It is very good for women who have mustache, chin hair or sideburn so as to mitigate their sufferings. For men, it is an alternative to shaving daily.

It is an undeniable fact that up to a quarter in search of permanent body hair removals are men and the process can be carried out either on the face or other body parts. It is rather quick as a full facial hair treatment only takes roughly fifteen minutes and the next treatment can be done four to six months later depending on the growth cycle.

For getting rid of facial hair permanently, laser hair treatment is considerably the best solution, especially for women. It might be a permanent hair removal technique but certain re-growth is likely over time. Make some enquiries and talk to as many people as possible prior to seeking a qualified, esteem and experienced surgeon to carry out the course of treatment. All these will do away with false claims and hefty discount that is being asserted everywhere.

Full body hair removal! How do you do it?

Posted by admin On October - 11 - 2009

This is my goal. I’m a hairy guy, and I plan to get in good shape and go sleek and hairless.

… but how on EARTH do you even start to accomplish this?!

Shaving is simply out of the question it seems. Regrowth would be a nightmare, and would be regrowing fast (especially with me) and a lot of work. So that seems to leave two options, waxing, and hair removing gel. I’m talking whole body here people, not just an upper lip so it is a bit serious.

So, do any of these work? Are they even that cost efficient? I’ve never done or considered either so… I’m at a bit of a loss.

Waxing: I’m looking for something I can do myself, so I’m not going to consider paying some other guy/girl to rip hair off of me. I’ve heard there are two types, wax, and the sugar type. Which works, and are there other options?

Hair removing gel: I’ve heard mixed things about this, mostly due to some danger of irritation and possible skin problems. What is the low down on this? Is it effective?

Thank you.
Yes, I’d say I’m about 80% of the level of Robin Williams in regards to hair.

As a female, I have to tell you that a hairless guy is a big turn off. I like my men with some body hair (legs and arms, for example). I can understand if you wanted to get rid of chest and back hair. You can still look attractive and sexy with some body hair. Trust me.

Anyway, the surest bet for temporary hair removal is waxing at a salon. It stings for a while but it looks professionally well-done and it lasts.

Another method is hair removal cream. You simply dab to the area and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.

Avoid any hair removal gels, they don’t work as well.

P.S.- Good luck on your fitness! =]
