Body hair removal.?

Posted by admin On October - 2 - 2009

Is body hair removal still as popular as it was a few years ago?? I have heard it was a passing fad, but from what I see, it is actually being done by more people, both men and women.

It is. You’re right.

I need a kitchen formula that is proven to remove hair permanently.

There is no home remedy to permanently get rid of body hair. All the known techniques to remove hair at home are temporary. Techniques for permanent removal of hair all involve intervention from medical or cosmetic professionals. Apart from being expensive, not all these techniques are entirely successful, and some also have associated risks. The best option is probably electrolysis. Other techniques such as laser removal are also possible, but these have a risk of injury and are not truly permanent. With electrolysis, the hair matrix cells under the skin are themselves damaged, and follicles are subsequently unable to produce hair.

If you want to remove body hair at home, you have the standard options — shaving, waxing, friction, threading, and a variety of mechanical epilators and depilatory creams. Because techniques like waxing, threading, and epilators remove hair from the follicles, they tend to be more painful but need to be performed less regularly. Shaving, friction, and creams get rid of only the visible part of hair, and are therefore less painful. However, the root of the hair remains and continues to grow, so you need to repeat the treatment more often. You should choose a technique that suits you and your skin type.

Nair Body Hair Removal?

Posted by admin On September - 26 - 2009

i use Nair body hair removal for my legs and my arms. but, i dont know if i have an irritation to it. it burns a bit the first time i used it on my arms. how do you know if you have an irritation? plus, after i used it on my arms i seemed to have an acne breakout on it. the acne were red too. i dont know if thats an irritation? is it..? whats the sign of irritations?

Yes, burning and a break out are an indication of an irritation. You could try wax or shaving, or try a different brand of depilatory–it might just be the ingredients in Nair that bother you.
