Is it safe to get laser hair removal before you are 18?

Posted by admin On September - 29 - 2009

I am 14 years old and really want to get laser hair removal. I heard that you just have to be over 13, but even at 14 you still have hairs growing after.

Yeah, it’s definitely safe. I’m 17 and get it done. Though, since you are still growing (as am I), your hormones may change. So your hair may grow back. Though, I get mine done at Ideal Image and if your hair does grow back, you can go back at get it touched up for free.

Body hair what can I do?

Posted by admin On September - 29 - 2009

Hi
Im hairy and I read about all this products that remove unwanted hair but I don’t know which one is better for me. I have a lot of hair, its thick and curly. Im looking for a products that removes hair everywhere including pubic areas. I just moved to Toronto and I don’t know where I can get hair removal products for man specially creams.
So in conclusion I would like to know:
Which product (specially creams) would you recommend to me?
Where can I get this product in Toronto?
(sorry if I have grammar mistakes my english is not that good yet)

For unanted body hair (excluding pubic or facial hair) I would go with Nair. It is a cream that you smooth over your skin. After I believe 5-10 minutes you wipe the cream with a rough surface like a wash cloth and the hair is removed!

Another option is waxing. I would recommend a salon for the least pain and the best job. Waxing is safe for all hair, including pubic.

Shaving is another option. The cons are the hair grows back fast as well as you may get razor bumps or cuts. Also, you will not be able to shave your own back.

I recommend trying each method. Then you can decide which method you like the best.

Nair Body Hair Removal?

Posted by admin On September - 26 - 2009

i use Nair body hair removal for my legs and my arms. but, i dont know if i have an irritation to it. it burns a bit the first time i used it on my arms. how do you know if you have an irritation? plus, after i used it on my arms i seemed to have an acne breakout on it. the acne were red too. i dont know if thats an irritation? is it..? whats the sign of irritations?

Yes, burning and a break out are an indication of an irritation. You could try wax or shaving, or try a different brand of depilatory–it might just be the ingredients in Nair that bother you.

What is the Best Hair Removal product?

Posted by admin On September - 26 - 2009

I’m talking about hair around your bikini line. I want to remove all of the hair basically. I don’t want to go to a salon to get it done even though that would give me the best results but whatever. so whats the best product to use and how long do the results last?

I’ve heard good things about Nair and Veet, which are the most common products (you can find them in any drugstore, supermarket, etc.) They usually last like 5-7 days, I believe. I’d tell you how my experiences with them went, but I’m allergic to them…so you probably don’t want to hear about it, haha. Definitely try a patch-test on your leg or something first!
